A Day for Life

Let us remind ourselves of this sacred gift - Life
The Church teaches that life is to be nurtured from conception to natural death, and every year a Day for Life is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. There have been many calls in the media recently, especially by some celebrities, for assisted suicide to be allowed, a view that opposes the Catholic view that life is a gift and that we are called to care for others at the end of their lives. Read more on the bishops’ website (https://www.cbcew.org.uk/day-for-life/ ) about how we can promote the Catholic view of life as a gift and the importance of care at the end of life.
