Safeguarding
The parish of Fareham and Portchester is committed to the Safeguarding policies of the Catholic Church in England and Wales; to protect children and vulnerable adults from neglect, physical, emotional and sexual abuse and to promote a safe environment for them. It is the policy of the Parish that all those who work with children and vulnerable adults are officially checked and cleared through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency audit, review and monitor safeguarding in church bodies. They share what they find by publishing the results of audits and safeguarding reviews – every time, whatever the results.
