Parish Ecology Group

The Parish Ecology Group was started 20 years ago (from the environmental and justice and peace charities) to encourage parishioners to reflect on and study God’s creation, and to discover ways of living in a more sustainable fashion. We recycle plastic bottle tops and aluminium foil, and are considering signing up for Cafod’s Livesimply Award which enables parishes to strengthen the bonds of community, nourish their spiritual life and care for God’s gift of creation. 

We meet on the last Friday of the month (except in Lent , Advent, August,and December) in the Sacred Heart Hall at 7.30pm to hear from speakers from environmental and justice and peace charities. Everyone of any faith, or none, is welcome.
