READERS

Members of the parish who are confident in speaking in public, proclaim the Old and New Testament readings and lead the Bidding Prayers at all Masses. They are not “just” readers, but are Ministers of the Word. Readers undertake a short training session (arranged a couple of times each year) and their names are added to a roster for the Masses which they normally attend.
