The SVP is an international Christian charity dedicated to tackling poverty, in all its forms, by providing practical assistance to anyone in need. The work we do in Fareham focuses on giving people a sense of belonging by offering friendship and support, especially to the elderly and lonely. We can help individuals and families in need, with food, clothes, furniture and in some circumstances limited financial help. Additionally, we organise social events for the elderly, support to other parish events and raise funds to support people locally and with self-help projects internationally.
